just because you can stick a cork to a bottles mouth doesnt mean that you can fill an entire bottle with cork.

they just cemented the opening to the deadly cave. not its entire volume.

Back in the old days, they used to install a long string in the caskets tied to a bell above ground, so people buried alive could pull the string and try and signal someone to dig them out. Sadly, many of the graveyards were in remote areas, so no one could hear the bell clanging away.

No I saw on the map, they could have ran a fire engine hose back there.

Probably a few hours. That's all the air you'd have, being 6 feet underground. The shock and panic might kill the person first.

Yelling into a breathing tube for days, until you're hoarse and can no longer cry out when someone actually does walk by. Just a whisper.

why is it necessary to bury someone 6 ft and not less. Seems like an unnecessary depth

Started as so they can't dig their way out and sue, but then they just started embalming the live ones to cover all the bases.

Well the good news is in about 5000 years he'll probably be a museum exhibit. Much like those dudes found in peat bogs like the dude named "Lindow Man"...this guy will be called "Concrete Colin".
