    I'm not talking about individuals, I'm talking about tech companies acting as a cartel to deplatform services that do not conform to their own arbitrary codes. The most recent example is Parler, though similar things happened to Gab, Hatreon, Dailystormer etc..
    
    Using Parler as an example Tencent could feasibly position themselves as a competitor to AWS that won't drop you unless you're doing something explicitly illegal.

    as far as I know Parler's still down, Gab self-hosts but they get boned when it comes to payment processing, Dailystormer used a Romanian host from memory.
    
    yeah I don't really see it happening given most of that crowd is boomers and the only thing they hate more than 'globalists' is Chinese, just thought it would be a funny turn of events considering Tencent is one of the only 'cloud' companies that can compete with AWS' scale outside of the US 'big tech' sphere
