    Mark 11:12-25

The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

    God gets hangry

Killing a tree because it didn't have a fig for him...you can almost see the whiny mill-enial stomping up and down, fists balled in his fucking potato sack dress.

Jesus was subtly providing a lesson to his disciples, in that those who bear no fruit will be barren their whole lives.

Jesus was saying that it was now time to take the fight to the enemy, but in a figurative/spiritual sense, not literal/physical.

    Contrary bastard.

    Matthew 5:43-45

God calls us to love Him above all else and love our neighbors as ourselves. ... “You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven”

    Context is important, son.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” ~ Ephesians 6:12 [The Apostle Paul]

The spirit of God speaks in code, in riddles. It expects you to ponder the message. It's alive. That's why most people can't truly understand what is really in there, because it's written in such a way that people with closed hearts can't decipher the meaning.

There's no excuse. There's no cop out. It's just that you can't just take one part and point at it and say, "Aha! There it is!". There has to be a fullness of context. You can't just look at one section of the painting and say, "Hark! I see!", because, no, you wouldn't see. You have to look at the whole picture to see what's really there. This requires painstaking examination and long hours of study. Nothing good comes easy. You have to work for it. Any fool can see a tree, but to see the forest is a man's work.

As I've said before I was force fed the bible for 13yrs...I'm familiar with the big picture...the big picture is a method to keep the masses in line while lining the pockets of deceivers.
