   I actually like some of the appeal of a certain Neo-Luddite way of life. Henry David Thoreau's Walden is one of my favorite books I've ever read.
   
   I also plan on living off-grid at some point.
   
   But, the caveat is that I will still have some electronic devices, including fancy, high-tech computer technology.
   
   It'll all be run on solar power, though, and maybe a bit of hydroelectric energy.
   
   You can be in touch with nature and still embrace technology.
   
   It's not a mutually exclusive dichotomy.
