Either give sources to your claim or fuck off. The CDC gets its information from 57 different jurisdictions. That information is also available on state websites.

So you get all your info from the CDC and media sources and then you tell me to think for myself.
There's a way bigger picture going on here than just number of deaths. The propaganda becomes the reason for it. The prohibitionists claim that its simply black and white, x amount of deaths equals drugs are bad mkay. When the fact of the matter is that its prohibition itself that is the major cause of each overdose. When people are being sold fent as heroin in an unregulated market then you are going to see massive amounts of overdoses. People using fent knowing its fent can dosage accordingly and overdoses would then be rare. Its the same problem with unregulated heroin causing overdoses because nobody knows the exact purity therefore making it impossible to dose. Heroin users know more about dosaging than most health professionals, yet without knowing the purity or exact content that's of little benefit.
Of course I wouldn't know about this as I'm just a 25 year heroin user who doesn't think for himself.

But yeah now you mention it, no I don't trust govt sourced figures on this issue. Can you not see what is really going on with the authorities and the drug issue?
Let me explain it a little. The authorities ban drugs, making them way more dangerous than they ever were. Then they keep reminding you all about this evil dangerous drug menace that you are facing. Then they sell you some measure of protection from this peril that you are facing that they have created in the first place.
Its no different to if I was to set up a security company on a trading estate, then sent some lads over every night to smash some windows, maybe burgle a few warehouses, steal a few cars and petrol bomb a few buildings. Then sell security to all the companies, stick a night watchman out there and then reduce the lads from going over the in the evenings. I'm literally protecting them from a menace that I've created and then profiting from it.
In that situation of course I'm going to lie and exaggerate the threat whenever dealing with the customers to keep up the pretense. So it doesn't take a genius to figure out that any govt based source on the drug problem should not be taken at face value. Especially when its figures and statistics, you don't need sources, history shows us that the govt are not shy when it comes to exaggerating figures when it suits their agenda.
