Tie 20 toasters to your body, plug them all in, then push all the levers.

Sometimes I do just that. I particularly like the darkest grungiest bars available. Or any bar that knows how to pour their whisky proper. My friends like the cringe bars with nothing but craft beers and whatnot, dogs and babies and all that. We have to compromise by starting at my choice and ending at theirs, or the other way around.

This is a myth. Fun fact : you can EASILY take a bath and bring a toaster or whatever the fuck hair dryer into it and it's fine. Trust me

i got these janky new wireless headphoens that sound tinny as fuck right and the little packets all in broken english and I see that they're water proof and it encourages you to shower with them but do not swim

and im like these headphoens are not water proof lol so i'm debating it but i'll sweat a lot in florida nd probably figure it out that way

How about a refrigerator? Would that do the job?

Facts: for any harm to be done the toaster has to be plugged in to a power source and to a non GFI outlet too.

It's the amperage that kills you.

An unpowered toaster can only kill you if it's repeatedly slammed with great force against your head.

    incorrect.

apply its power chord around your neck in a correct manner will do the job faster and more energy conserving.

    Source?

ETA: Also the power cord isn't the toaster...

    its part of the toaster.

But not the toaster...the discussion was re: toasters.

Any device's power cord (assuming same gauge and length) could be used in the way you describe..so, non sequitur.

    Correct it isn't.

I'd still be me without it, just as I would be without an arm, a leg or my flowing mane of hair.

Reminds me of the Mitch hedberg joke about why do we call corn on the cob, corn on the cob and when it's off the cob it's just corn, so like if you removed your arm we should call the arm Mitch, and if you reattach it we shall call him Mitch altogether.

    Something like that anyway.
