Are you for or against the death penalty?

The problem with the death penalty is that it inevitably puts innocent people to death. The justice system sucks because prosecutors don't care if they have the right guy, there only job is to convict and they don't care if they have the right guy. America has put people to death that were later proven innocent by dna. The cost argument doesn't hold up because it costs millions of dollars in court fees and legal costs and it costs more to put people to death than to keep them in prison indefinitely. All suffering is in life and not in death so for the guilty ones they suffer more in prison and the innocent ones have a chance to be free. Supporting the death penalty ultimately means supporting putting innocent people to death.

Then you've got texas that literally puts retards to death. There's just no good reason to have the death penalty, not to mention giving the state the power to kill people which is not good.

Don't get me wrong, there are certain people who I would put bullet through their skull because the world is better off if they were gone but I'm not a state and just a citizen.

To me there are no solid reasons to have the death penalty. For the guilty ones it is a lifetime of prison and for the innocent ones there is hope of the truth being found out. Tell me what you think.

    Against.

All you need to do is look at the political view points people have. Examples of people ignoring facts and statistics in favor of what they want to believe. Those same people will be sitting in the jury box deciding if you should live or die.

100% in favor of the death penalty for people who can 100% be convicted of a crime. I'm talking good camera footage or finding somebody with a corpse. It needs to be completely unchallenged in evidence that they committed this crime.

    blah, blah...
the way DNA is today, not so many innocent peeps are being wrongfully convicted. Im all in-- for capitol punishment! and for freeing up tax dollars after a person's last appeal has been denied.

    that.

if some mother fucker accused of killing 800 people gets convicted then sentenced to the death penalty but says he didn't do it and there is no 100% certainty of it then no death penalty.

but...if there is irrefutable proof, upon conviction...right there in the courtroom... the victim or their family gets to pick the method of execution and pull the trigger, yank the rope, stick in the needle, or pummel their head into jello.

It cost me more tax dollars to make 100% sure we arent killing an innocent person. So against, practically.

I'm for it if a person is 100 percent guilty of child murdering and or molestation. as in, if that person admits to doing it as well as shitloads of evidence.

and the method of execution shouldn't be limited to injections.

but murdering out of anger in a domestic should have the person sit in jail and think about what they did.

I also believe the system should remove the bulk of prisoners. and that the prisons should be built like they are in places like Germany. a small apartment like cell where the prisoner has the key, goes to his cell and learns to code or some other form of business practice that applies to him or her getting out and finding a job. maybe offering free or reduced payment for their service for the first 6 months or year (which can apply in a positive way for finding work afterwards by doing pro-bono or chairty work)

petty theft or crimes should be incarceration out in the desert or someplace away from humans and cleaning highways.. knowing they're not gonna sit in a jail and allow them to think if their stealing is really worth having to do shit like picking up litter all day long.

drug users should be forced into councling and learning to do without drugs. in hospitals (which shouldn't be just a cot or matress on the floor. a real drug free program.

you could free up the prison system. free up tax dollars. not pay private prison companies that give little for human life themselves.

re hire guards to watch and monitor cameras placed around this country. that's right.. we're already big brother but not big brother for profit as much as big brother watching assholes beating up old women. stay out of my house with your secret cameras in cable boxes and put them on street corners.

no traffic enforement though. just people bullying others. or even changing lights at a fucking stop light in which everyone is waiting when no traffic is moving across. that's a shit show of time wasted right there.

This basically refers to low IQ blacks, who are not always retarded in a potato kind of way, just in a damn that's a dumb-ass nigger kind of way. But if someone is violent to others, their IQ doesn't really matter. Do high IQ people deserve to be held to a higher standard than dumb-asses?

And the whole thing about jedi NGOs challenging black guy's convictions 20 or 30 years after the case, when everyone has retired, forgot, or lost interest, on technicalities and by getting dismissed the specific pieces of evidence that was used to get a conviction is bullshit as well.

I believe that the cops know when someone is guilty, anytime someone gets charged with a crime I'd guess that 9 times out of 10 they did it.
