No offense, but that looks kinda lost. It's got Japanese elements, but you're not exactly sleeping on the floor. And those fold up tables serving as bedside lockers look kinda cheap, impractical and out of place. The room inhabits an awkward space between traditional and minimalist, and just doesn't quite manage to pull either off.
That's just my opinion though.
I live in a 100% traditional European environment btw.

I don't like the bedside table either. It definately needs some kind of fake window and also curtains.

I think the whole philosophy of minimalism is to retain only those elements of your environment you absolutely need, and those that fill you with joy.
