Hey, here's a radical idea: let's just not have the government provide healthcare. Like, at all.

this is the part that i never really understand.

why is it not ok for people with preexisting conditions to be rejected ?

Are you retarded? Please, shut the fuck up or actually Google a subject before saying something fucking retarded on it lol.

The big problem with American healthcare before the ACA was that the insurance premiums were "lower" but actual insurance was fucking useless unless you bought the insanely expensive shit. It was difficult to actually get insurance, and if you did, you'd go to make a claim and get fucking denied for shit that you thought you were covered for because the insurer would cite a pre-existing condition or that you weren't covered for XYZ reasons.

A large part of this was due to the fact that healthy people don't get insurance. They just don't. And those that do, didn't feel like tossing $1000 out the window every month, do they went with "apparently" decent cheap coverage, which didn't cover shit. And those that don't, would try to get it when they did finally need it, and of course would even get denied either from getting it in the first place, or on their claims.

Finally, people with preexisting conditions had absolutely no options, or did manage to get approved for insurance and then got similarly cucked and fucked when the time came to make a claim.

Healthcare in America was a cluterfuck before the ACA. So shut the fuck up and divert your bullshit to your colostomy bag, moron.

The ACA is what stopped insurance companies from denying people with preexisting conditions, and secondly (and more importantly) made insurance coverage mandatory, which means that all the aforementioned market bullshit gets cut through, and you can actually provide healthcare at a reasonable price. Short of entering the 21st century and just establishing a single payer system, what the fuck do you suggest? Do you even know what it was like before Obamacare? No you don't. You're sitting in a European nation that actually has socialized healthcare.

Hey here's a radical idea; how about you look up what a nightmare that actually was, and how well single payer systems are working out in Europe? Resprctively; "a big nightmare", and "very".

FFS stupid kids who think they know what they're talking about.

Because for one, as a civilized nation, we don't leave people who have medical issues to twist in the wind, and two,it was being used to fuck with oateients and either extract higher premiums from them, or deny them coverage when fiscally convenient even if they had every reason to believe they were covered.

Of course not, because by that same measure. I would just call in for fire insurance the moment my house catches fire. Also...

Because for one, as a civilized nation, we don't leave people who have medical issues to twist in the wind

If you were so fucking civilized you wouldn't say LOLOL let the government pay them, not my problem. Instead you would help out with private charity you fucking mong.

That's exactly the same thing as healthcare m I rite.

By the way, if your car's AC breaks, then you get in s crash, would you like your insurance to use that as an excuse to not cover you?

all these faggots that focus on nigger-bamacare or who provides insurance or at what amounts are falling for the smoke and mirrors. the fact of the matter is...the medical industry in the US is a pure and unadulterated scam that fleeces the American citizenry of trillions of dollars and causes more deaths than any other sources. the medical industry needs to be shut down completely and revamped into what it's supposed to be: health care.

Does your commie government cover mental defects? Because you should get checked for free for retardation.

I am perfectly healthy and I pay more taxes than any of you scum. The government paying for it is my problem; it's all of our problem, by virtue of the fact that we live in democratic societies. Unless your living under a fascist dictatorship, no, the government is not some evil corporation STEELING YUR TARKSES, it's an agent of the people.

i dont think you understands what non-roadworthy cars are.

but lets follow your analogy :

my car already has a bad ac. no gas in it. so i buy this insurance today and tomorrow my ac jammed.

should i be able to claim compensation for the repairs ?

Basic facts according to you? Aren't you supposed to be rich? You know all about economics right? So tell me, what happens when you force insurance companies to take on people with pre-existing conditions? 1. Premiums go up massively. 2. Everyone just cancels their plan until they get sick. To keep the fucking scam going Obamacare just forces everyone to get healthcare and pay the premiums. That's the real reason for Obamacare. You're delusional if you actually believe the government is this big old humanitarian organization that gives a single shit about the welfare of it's citizens.

I've already told your why the analogy is inapplicable. I'm using an applicable one.

You are literate, right? Im making the assumption based off you posting on this message board, because "didn't read" is my shit. The point of the ACA was that if the insurance can't fuck your ass, that removes the reason for healthy people not to buy insurance (which was the case), and then everybody buys into health insurance, and this is more profitable for insurance providers. This is more than necessary to offset the cost of insuring people with preexisting conditions. This isn't a difficult concept to understand. It's win-win-win and you are honestly just retarded and dogmatic.

Holy shit, are you actually dense enough to have such a childish dogma based on your poor understanding of economics?
