Even if you were referring to averages this would still make no sense because of course not every person with Asperger's is the same, so how in the hell will they all be equal to, on net, the average neurotypical brain?
The average neurotypical functions well in ALL areas? This statement isn't even true. It's only true if you define "functions well" as being determined by average level of ability, which would be tautological. "Think of how stupid the average person is and then realize half of them are stupider than that." Then what the fuck about people who are (well) above average? How would you describe how they function?

Even the beneficial aspects, which are far less common among neurotypicals and the general population, can vary widely in strength and other characteristics among those who possess them.

I want you to tell me, exactly what can on average differences tell you about an individual? Oh, yes, it's true. I was recommended to have my intelligence/aptitude examined early in 1st grade because my abnormally high performance, far far above normal students, was so discernable. Was classified as gifted. Scored extremely high on standardized tests every year, scoring in the 99th percentile on multiple subjects, straight As, top of class, tested in the 130+ IQ range on a professionally administered and valid in person test.
Yet concurrently I'm also retarded! I probably even can't actually read or type, I probably have a helper "interpreting" my grunts and "sign language" and posting this. They secretly probably don't even believe in that interpretation shit and just it as a cover to be online and post all day, having become addicted to this website, while getting paid for it.
