Oh and is malice alive? It seems odd he hasn't posted in a bit.

Yeah, I noticed he hasn't been posting as well. No idea, maybe I should start scanning the oakland obits.

What do you think of azure? Most people I talk to dismiss it as the ENTERPRISE QUALITY version heroku, although most of them also have never actually used it. I'm pretty much in the same boat, MS does have a history of this kind of thing though.

Lanny, please do. He can be an asshole and hate my choices, sex, and child, but I really do like reading his posts. I genuinely hope he is alright. He might have finally checked himself into the lunnybin.

I started reading TRT from the start. Last year Countblah was still bitching about his MIL, Malice was telling PoC to meet and make friends with punks, and sploo was trying to get high off Parkinson's medication. Where is Blah anyway? Oh, and malice was bitching at 1337 to post pics of butch's pink hair and lecturing him on why she should have an abortion since they were trying for a baby. Where the fuck is he, while I'm on it? Nigga, my number is the same when we last talked- you should call or text or something, nigga.

Azure itself, as in the offsite Active Directory is not bad; seems reliable enough and has all the features of standard AD that we've needed. it's fairly expensive as I understand it though.

in terms of the other 365 tools (Exchange specifically) they're not bad, but still fairly new. They've got a ways to go in terms of API support and enterprise features (ie. sublicensing*); there have been a fair few things we've had to work around because they're not ready yet or MS didn't think people would want them.

example: company I work for is a franchisor, we buy 365 licenses and resell to the franchisees (bulk discount). if said franchisees want to use OneDrive or SharePoint, there's no way to give them separate instances - all offices have access to each others' internal data. I'm presently trying to work around that by using AD privileges, but will need to write an automated solution and user-accessible office management because it's going to be very difficult to manage individual groups for the number of offices and users we have.

The Forest and the Trees: Distortions and Adrift Cycles in Autistic Modes of Thought.

Not a real book. Just something that crossed my mind after the thought of the overwhelming complexity of the human brain, even specific disorders.

Handle it piece by piece. It being prevented from having occurred is no longer possible, there can be many manifestations and future treatments may only work before a certain age. The secondary statement is represented by this pertinent finding: http://mentalhealthdaily.com/2014/09/18/genetic-clusters-suggest-schizophrenia-is-8-distinct-diseases/

Imagine going so far as a to lesion or completely remove the right amygdala. (Fight/fight, fear response, processing of negative emotion), remove certain sections (measured in cubic cm), or the removal of the whole being the most extreme option. A strong and clear link having been repeatedly been found with autism spectrum disorders, enlarged and overactive.

Hehehe, oh the wonderful world of medical tourism. How lovely it is that it's been available for quite some time, with reports from people receiving it specifically for anxiety disorders.

Actually eliminate, or at least greatly reduce, the ability to experience the emotion of fear. I came to the realization during the trial of suffering in my life (post mental-breakdown about 2-1/2 years ago until present) that it had really been the principle and most destructive force in my life.

This would be a good starting point, and it's actually non-invasive. Relatively affordable as well. Not exactly speculative or risky. And what fascinating literature there is. Can't say a version of me quite literally incapable of experiencing fear shouldn't be extremely worrying for others, though.

I'm alive. Sorry for telling you to kill yourself, Hydro, I later thought about my own extreme isolation and remembered the times you said it was the only thing keeping you going, why you would feel such reluctance to giving it up. You still should never have had it and are honor bound to dedicating yourself to insure it experiences as little suffering as possible. Contrary to the "environmentalist" (as opposed to hereditarian) nonsense that's repeatedly been spouted, these are not the most important years and except in cases of serious abuse of malnutrition will likely have no statistically significant impact in long-run outcomes. I do think you should prepare to give it up for adoption within a few years, for the sake of both of you, and will be incredibly selfish if you don't (and keeping him is about your own selfish, attached and dependent, emotions.)

I'm so glad i'm not a programmer as a day job. While you're writing your user manual, i'll write some dank malware, pwn noobs and hold some b0xxen down. Would take a job in infosec though.

they made me go to a 2 hour mandatory meating and made me sit at the front so I couldn't sleep through it this time, so I had tramadol and modafinil for breakfast

also I'm not really a programmer, most of my job is just people asking me to make stupid shit work together.

also they ask me about security then do the opposite.

Malice- it's alright. No harm, no foul. You're just one of many who has said that and you only said it once when I was the one who messaged you, I have no hard feelings toward you.

I see where you're coming from with regards to my son, don't think I don't or that I don't take into account what you say- I truly have always valued your imput in my and my son's life (I wouldn't have him on royal jelly, or have looked into other stuff for him, if I didn't.) You're right when you say that I am honour bound to my child, besides all the love in my heart for him, I feel that, just as my dad was honour bound to me.

I know I am going to have to make a lot (and have) of sacrifices for him- I've known that from the moment I first seen the positive in the pregnancy test and have been commited to doing that. I've been saying this for a while now, that I truly believe my life is short- I won't make it til my next birthday. Having said that, it seems like fate and all sorts of strange things and people have come into my life just for this reason- people who have fallen in love with him, who are changing their entire wills for him, setting up college funds for him, going out of their way to give him so much stuff- everyday this baby gets a new toy or something from these people who have essentially become his grandparents.

Right now, a babysitter is the last thing I'd ever need to find for him, and I'd be yelled at and called crazy if I even mention giving them money to watch him (this has happened a few times already). Its weird how all these people, non-relatives, just friends of my relatives, has jumped in head first... I guess its because they lack and always desired family and a grandchild yet either never had it, or their family has been such shit and has used them and won't even let them have contact with their grandchildren (read the thread 'doing the right thing' I started, to fill you in more) so having him in their lives have given them everything they've ever wanted, and also, for my son, given him a 'family', plus all the benefits of a family.

Not all kids have assurance at the age of 1 that they'll be able to go to a good college or have some inheritence once these people die. I don't feel I will be around in a year, much less years. I'm taking this time to set my son up to have support and 'family' who will go out of their way to give him everything he could desire. I'm also writing a book for him to have when he is older of all the things I would want to say to him regarding different topics- I won't be there, but I hope he reads and heeds some of the things I leave behind for him.

Anyway, I'm glad you're alive and hope you're doing okay (as well as you can be in your situation, at least). Look forward to many more walls of text from you soon ;) and as always I, at least, appreciate your contributions to this shitty forum and contributions you've made to the life of people I love and care about and myself. I hope, truly, you're able to find happiness and satisfaction in this life.

That gamma knife surgery shit is pretty interesting. Most people though I assume would be very worried over fucking with their brain, because of tabboo regarding shit like lobotomies. I've read a few sites talking about it and can't say I'd dive right in for those same fears of fucking with one's brain, but it does seem really cool. I don't for see it becoming a standard of treatment even for severe cases, even if it shows massive positive outcomes for one reason: pharmaceutical companies and the whole mental healthcare system will stand to lose a lot of money. If an 8-15k surgery could 'fix' people with anxiety say, that's a drop in the bucket for the healthcare system when you deal with people who suffer a lifetime, I think. Drugs, shrinks, inpatient, councelors, therapy... I imagine the average person suffering throws far more money than that in their lifetime toward treatment. So, Malice, are you considering doing this? Its within your means and shows long term promise... You're also not a guy who is gonna be hung up on tabboos... Or do you have fears about fucking with and essentially killing a part of your brain?

Doubt it'll be worse than this. May as well take a chance if you're essentially terminal, or at least likely to greatly suffer for the rest of your life. Fortunately it's the amygdala, and you're really only affecting a tiny portion of your brain, so I'm not too worried.

And, yes, the pharma/mental health care system is fucked up everywhere. The Nordic countries actuallly have the highest per-capita rate of antidepressant use for those who blame America's system. It's human stupidity.
  19. You're also honour bound to keep your man-child §m£ÂgØL alive.

I feel like a lot of people in certain communities have, in a particularly intense moment of depression, justified making very bad choices by this line of reasoning. You know major depression affects your ability to come to reasonable conclusions, frequently causes conditions like hypochondria or an unjustified sense of imminent death. People making this argument for themselves are obviously unqualified to give themselves the "terminal" designation.

The Nordic countries actuallly have the highest per-capita rate of antidepressant use for those who blame America's system. It's human stupidity.

And yet their populations are among the happiest in the world. Maybe those antidepressants constitute part of successful treatment, or maybe these countries have some kind of geographic properties that dispose their populations to depression with greater frequency than other parts of the world (hint, hint). Your delight in "calling out" liberal admiration of the nordic (sorta) socialism is childish, a pet issue you think you have some unassailable position on and will take any opportunity you can find to bring it up. If anything the vehemence with which the right rushes to decry the nordic countries, or point out (frequently superficial, trivial) differences only goes to show how much of a problem those countries represent for the libertarian world view.
