Thing is, you can go back into the past, but not this past. Another past. So you go from this past to another present's past. So, no matter what you know in this present, you can't take it with you to this present's past, because as you travel from this past to the other past, you don't know you have. You think you're still in this past, but you're in another past almost exactly the same as this one, but with different outcomes. This Machine we live in is much more clever than one could ever imagine. -
