2020-01-28 at 4:29 PM UTCA dolphin is far more "advanced" than a field mouse...both are animals though...just as a human is more advanced than a goat (excluding mexicans)...they are also both animals.

But no, a piece of equipment doesn't change morality, no more than a gun kills people.
Guns allowed European to conquer most of the world. They didn't feel too bad about it, they thought they were helping by killing them and forcing them to adopt European customs and support their empires.
That technological imbalance affected how cultures interact and they had different morality and beliefs. Like the Spanish who believed taking gold from natives was for the grace of God and so they were morally justified in killing them all. -

Wrong, the first firearms were made in China...they didn't use them to conquer the world...it wasn't the gun it was the human behind the gun and his decision/mentality on how to use said chunk of metal to enable his goals.
Those goals would have been met either way. -

2020-01-28 at 4:48 PM UTCIt gave them the moral justification to engage in colonialism because they had vastly superior technology and viewed the native populations as savages that needed to be converted to Christians.

..till the truth behind it came out.
Turned out this was a pedophile that had murdered several local kids.
That's Vinnie's great uncle.
