That little girl might have grown up to be the best WNBA player in history. Weird to think about. The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

Idk i dont feel anything. Kids die everyday with far worse lives. Just because this one was famous? Its sad but it seems weird to actually FEEL sad over it outside of 'wow thats horrible' just the same as 15 kids being killed in Syria is 'wow that's horrible'
Just dont get how you can care about anyone you don't even know. -

It's more about feeling some sadness over someone you admire. And since you already admitted you made bait comments I realize its dumb to even be saying this. -

Probably subconsciously they realize if a person that famous and in the prime of their life can die so unexpectedly like that, it can happen to anyone, including themselves and their own loved ones. And that makes them sad.
Or they're just really empathetic people, less likely but there's all kinds of weirdos out there I guess.
Personally I feel nothing. Even when people close to me die I crack jokes about it immediately. I'm dead inside -

You admire celebrities? I don't. He was good at playing basketball and probably was a rapist. I don't think that deserves admiration. People talk about charity and shit but i feel most people would be charitable if they had more money than they knew what to do with. -

You're right. Sorry. -
2020-01-27 at 4:58 AM UTC43 mothers ate their own babies last year, and we're crying over a rich basketball player. Talk about priorities.
