John 16:25, Galatians 4:24, Revelation 1:20, all show that the bible speaks in allegory and not historical or factual truth. It is a spiritual guide. Nothing more.
What you are talking about is an outdated viewpoint viewed mostly by hardcore fundamentalists with a poor understanding of the bible. Again, another lifelong atheist trying to speak for a book they themselves have never studied. -
