Why do snowstorms make the news?
-
2020-01-22 at 11:52 PM UTCThe air itself gets so cold here that people have suffocated right on the street. They go out, get about a block or two, and then the cold air constricts their lungs and locks them up and they can't breath at all, and they're too far away from hot air to make it. When it get's down to about -40F/-45F, that's when they start dropping like flies. We find people the next morning stuck to fences and walls and frozen solid like statues as well. The other day I went out and it was -30 with high winds, but a real dry cold, and I could only get about a half lung of air, and I'm in top shape. The older people or people with breathing issues or asthma don't stand a chance in this ultra-frigid air. It's basically colder than standing directly in the ice box of your fridge.

And I hope you do get alerts for the approaching storm. I just don't need to be told that you are in a warning on my local news. Geezus, that faggot Tech is all over my balls about this. She wouldn't give a fuck if we got a rain warning. Fuck off Tech. -

What incident are you specifically referring to where they reported a "snow storm" to you on your local weather channel that had nothing to do with your local weather ? -

Lol not really, no.
Sometimes its as simple as not liking the cover (aka judging a book by its cover) Or maybe you dont know ENOUGH about it so you watch something you do know enough about.
Until you watch it, you don't know enough to form an informed opinion.
Just more snowflake shit from the regressives -

You have to be a brick wall to be a climate change denier, anti vaccination, etc. These Regressives take the Mythbuster motto to heart

Yeah, we all know liberals project everything they are actually the ones guilty of onto everyone else. What else is new? -

2020-01-25 at 5:08 PM UTCBeen unusually mild for weeks here, hovering around the 0 mark. Makes winter at least bearable. But I'm sure it will go back down to the -40s before long.
