there were several sites with a similar theme before this, and they always seemed to attract a certain kind of people
I guess more specifically, we tended to attract people deep into drugs, people with psychological problems, broken families, things like that
totse was originally known as a hub for explosive and drug manufacture, fringe 'conspiracy theories', 'hacking' and generally rebellious kids

If you're suicidal you should change every aspect of your life until it's completely different in every way and you find something that makes you happy
It doesn't always work for everyone but most of the people here that die didn't ever truly try to change their lives they lived in the same city, same house surrounded by the same people doing the same things.

when my Dad died a few years ago, he had become my best friend. before that we got along because i was his son and he was my dad. and ever since he died, i have literally broken down balling my ass off on an every other day basis. i wanted to die. i prayed to die. i begged God to take me. and what i find odd, during all of this, suicide never crossed my mind. so there has to be hope for someone who does deal with suicidal thoughts.

Well, it seemed like Juice and Malice were tormented by their own mental demons. Juice told me of them, and from listening to you guys talk about Malice, he had them as well.
Sploo had mental demons, but in a different way. Now Actor just seemed down a lot. Fuck fuck fuck, it comes in many faces.

i have really appreciated the ITT threads, where you get real honest about what you are facing. it's clear many here really do care. that's why this thinking that killing ourselves is the best option needs to STOP right now!!

sudo made a great thread and casper has the recovery thread. those 2 care!! i want to be on board with them!!

Maybe if their lives didn't suck but there isn't much to do to change that. A lot of us are pretty fucked and things that should make a normal person happy don't really work. When I had a full time job and a pregnant girlfriend was one of the darkest times in my life, people kept telling me if I kept it up I could save up for a house and set myself up for a good life.
some of are pretty woke and unsatisfied just being a working scrub normie like jigaboo johnson that makes his entire life about his job.
There are things people could focus on like relationships. A lot of the people that kill themselves here seem to be lonely and can't find girls which is pretty common for people in my generation
Everything is just fucked I don't even know where to start and I have a pretty good understanding of it all and it's just a huge mess of suffering. We aren't even cool enough to do a proper group suicide or anything

Edit: I wouldn’t have put this post after Scron’s post if I knew he was going to post things that are very serious.
Iam,
That’s why I like it here. Sure there’s some real degenerates here, but everyone here knows they are flawed, and that everyone else is. At DH, you were judged incessantly, and harassed for not having the “perfect life”. I have been more real with myself here in 1 1/2 yrs, than I ever was in 6 years on DH.

Most people here probably have bad coping skills and when the drugs stop working it can feel like killing yourself is the only other option. I don't know anyone here currently in therapy I think a lot of us just gave up on that and have a pretty good understanding of whats wrong with ourselves.
I hear a lot more about doctors than I do therapists but thats probably normal for USA

its okay, one of our coping methods is turning our problems into dank memes for strangers to laugh at on the internet

i have watched some great people in life like robin williams, David Foster Wallace, so many others who were creative, talented, and in a single moment lost hope and ended it.
robin was an older man and that is almost acceptable, but so many others like john belushi, john candy, chris farley were tormented and tried to escape like Philip Seymour Hoffman. they had it all and still it was not enough.
that kind of trapped needs to be corrected!!
