Africa is objectively a rapidly developing continent. In large part due to China and Russia competing for influence there. Just because they're horrifically poor doesn't mean things aren't changing. China was horrifically poor just 30 or 40 years ago and now it has the world's largest manufacturing economy, producing 1/5th of all goods worldwide. Africa will likely see similar growth. The cheap labor is good for economies worldwide.
