I guess youre right. But even with this price list, thats pretty fucking cheap for something you need 2 or 3 times for your entire life. Esp compared to the cost of even one single week long hospital stay.

I grew up completely removed from medicine. I didnt get anything beyond the mandated immunizations, and never even got the chicken pox. But id say its hard to argue with the lower rates of disease and death vs the third world. (If we assume those numbers arent doctored). -

You can get a gram of weed for about 10-15 pretty easily nowadays, that will last you a day
