Open Roth, put at least 10-15k in Vanguard S&P 500 ETF in a ROTH and then you can play with individual stocks, but be careful because just because you like a stock does not mean it is a good time to buy, as it could be overvalued or have negative sentiment or too high expectations on it.

Don't go too heavy in metals unless you smell impending doom all over. Land or real estate is not a bad idea either, especially stuff you can rent (not housing preferably, renting to people can be horrible with time and shitty people).

    Yeah drugs are bad.

I am matching cash accounts with precious metals.

A large fraction is in crypto-currencies.

I have no 401k/Pension or any retirement accounts.

On the good side, I have no debt, good health, and a job.

    What should I do now?

take it all out and buy gold bars with them.

by next year trump will have the fed reduce interest rates to less than 0. which means you will be required to pay the banks to put your monies there.

where as if you borrow money from them, they'll be required to pay you monthly interest for taking money off their hands.

My CDs are 5 years, so I'll gain interest on those. Hopefully it'll be more than inflation though.

If the markets crash, which I'm leaning towards, then cash will be king and will be great with the low prices. The last time the market crash bad(2008), metals dropped greatly in price and I started buying. I think cash is best for now but I want some stocks, bonds, and a retirement account. In time I hope to buy land to farm maybe...

by that time it will already be too late to cash out because all the banks would have ran dry by then.

the fed had just injected nerly some 700 billion into the repo market for the past few days to keep everything liquid and flowing. cashes are runing dry.

I actually keep 50/50 cash/metal. Most of my silver and gold has been obtained for free. I'm not really worried.

when cashes cease to flow theres really no point of having metals.

your so-called "metals" arent really physical metal like solid bars of silver and gold you keep under your bed, they're just 1s and 0s on a server somewhere in the same way much of your monies are.

unless you keep real solid bars under your bed, your "metals" are just as good as monies in bank accounts.

hold it off and keep your metals under your bed.

wait till the interest rate gets into the negative territory, thats when the banks will PAY you to get monies out of their vaults and off their hands.

as of right now your fed is easing its quantitatives, and quantitatives as we all know, are like sphincters. the more you ease it, the more likely your gonna get a prolapse.
