    Ahh yes, the average American is simply confused about basic geography because of their deep education in the history of 18th and 19th century land deals brokered between the US and the British Empire. Easy mistake to make really, under the circumstances.

    I know for a fact this border was adjusted and can not remember what it was refereed as.

    and the US and Britain had scrimmages long after the war of 1812 (the second war we had)

    so there has been conflicts in which shots were fired. And of course between French Canada and English Canada as well. .all the way into the early 20th century.

    i'm pretty sure all those big straight lines between many Us states did not come from war. territory that was fought over would be jagged depending on who was winning where.
