I take those passages in the Quran contextually. I dont think of it as a concept of entering and exiting, I guess it would be to some but I think of it as practicing and non practicing -

Yeah, it's definitely part of a coping strategy, albeit one that seems to be working right now. It's opened some doors for me and keep me out of other ones.
And I'm more careful than I used to be when I was permabanned from both r/worldnews and r/islam (and r/canada but everyone gets banned from there). It's pretty awesome I've never gotten in trouble for anything on the internet, even if you count social media I've never really had any real repercussions -

i wish there was a near identical alternative to faith for non-religious people, since everything about religious culture in Western society is beneficial...except for the religious aspect.

Islam makes the most sense to me in a logical way (Montheism in which the concept of God is incalculable and immeasurable but is still omnipresent) and I need to be constantly vigilant and conscious of God and my place in the world in order to keep myself from fucking up. It's like there's always an answer for things no matter what I need.
