2019-09-23 at 9:52 PM UTCQuit my job, got a better one with higher pay and more benefits and even closer to my house the very next day, and helped the girl I just met and smoked meth with a few days ago decide to quit her heroin addiction, then her mom had a random heart attack and was in the hospital with a tube down her throat and I was the first person she messaged asking if I would go be with her so she wasn't alone and of course I dropped everything and did.
Life is fucking weird. -

2019-09-23 at 10:18 PM UTCThe gross part about life is something weird might happen soon and you end up losing your new job, the girl you are helping will change her mind and go into a full blown addiction worse than ever before and overdose, and her mom will die of a residual heart attack, and it will all happen on the same day.
I hope that doesnt happen and I not suggesting that it actually will since that parlay would be an astronomical, but when and if it does, do you now have hope that things will turn around again since they did the first time? -

2019-09-23 at 10:35 PM UTCBasically in order to protect yourself from losing those things you need to not attach to them

That works. It's a word I can't think of. Detach yourself from everything and the pain from loss will be lessened, but you lose the potential joy you might gain by attaching yourself to something. -
2019-09-23 at 10:45 PM UTCWhich is why I'm not implying life sucks truly or anything like that. But like with me, my current mindset , for example, is that I don't ever want to get a new kitty (and it's been a year and half since Chootie) because I dont wanna go through a new cat dying.
That's something I should probably talk to a professional about lol. -
2019-09-23 at 11:19 PM UTCDo attach yourself to it and feel the joy, lose it and feel the pair. There's no reason to fear it
jusy recognize that both are part of the package. That's just life.
You go for a nice meal and gain something. You pay for the meal and lose something. You don't regret paying for the meal if you like the meal. -

Wouldn't surprise me at all since that kind of metaphorically just happened to me.
Fuckin way she goes, boys.

It's a little more complicated than that. -

THATS JUST LIFE .
It is. Why doesnt everyone just realise that? WELL HEY THATS JUST LIFE. DEAL WITH IT.
what if you dont WANT to deal with it? Why should you be forced to deal with something that you had no fucking influence on to begin with.
If I just started finding you every day and slapped a handful of shit into your mouth when you weren't expecting it, would you just "deal with it?"
Lol ok I'm getting buzzed. Trying to make a point.
It just shouldn't be so "wrong" to want to die. And it shouldn't be wrong to do it. Pros and cons. Things can get better but they can also get worse and it's all over the board so its always seemed weird to me personally to suggest to every person ever that there is always a reason to keep fighting on.
Lots of people disagree. I DO agree, but I feel like I can sympathize with those who dont. -
