Your quote discusses businesses accepting money for services, we are talking banks. Get with it, and quit trying to throw anything out there, and hope it sticks. -

The quote applies to all businesses, including the banks. Like I said, there is no law that says any business must accept currency, this information set out by the US Treasury itself. -

Are businesses required to accept cash?
Federal law does not require a business to accept paper bills or coins. According to the Treasury Department, “Private businesses are free to develop their own policies on whether or not to accept cash unless there is a State law which says otherwise.” Oct 23, 2018
"…no federal law mandates that a person or an organization must accept currency or coins as payment for goods or services not yet provided. For example, a bus line may prohibit payment of fares in pennies or dollar bills."
Keep trying Specs. See bolded. That has nothing to do with giving a bank your coins for deposit or in return for cash. -

this is true when i worked at malibu poke' on my first day i wanted a topo chico and realized it was card only and I didn't have my bank card with me as I mostly use cash -
2019-09-20 at 6:38 PM UTCThe financial institutions here, that still have counter staff that deal with physical currency (which is getting rare) will accept coin bags. They just weigh them to make sure the amount is right.
If you know and are trusted by a local businessperson, they will also accept them, as it saves them having to pay the bank for change (about 2% iirc).
Pennies and 2¢ pieces can be a problem, as pennies and 2¢ pieces were removed from circulation in the eurozone a while ago. -

Now if you’re not a customer there, they can refuse any service to you.
Wrong again. The FEDERAL RESERVE is obligated to accept it, not banks. If you feel this isn't the case feel free to cite the law that states otherwise. -

This. I really don't see why she can't get it through her retarded head.
Banks are businesses
Businesses aren't required to accept change of any sort
The deposit itself is the good/service
They did not complete the service by refusing to count the change, therefor are not obligated to take tender legal or otherwise. -

She's a double-downer. I've even seen her triple down.
