Those things get rusty. I always put a lil bit of bulb grease in there. I had the same issue a cpl weeks ago.

Light would come on the dash saying the bulb was out,and it wouldn’t work, then work a while, then not…went on until I replaced the bulb and put a lil grease in there.

    Archer K-Ys his balls...oops, I meant bulbs.

Look, mom...it's a nun driving down the road for miles and miles with her turn signal on.

Never mind, it's just Sad Steve.

Honey, you shouldn't make fun of people who are less fortunate than you are.

bosch make most of their own stuff rather than outsourcing it. they're germans, they're quite particular about shit like that. they have around 400 plants worldwide, some might be in china, but many are not. i think they got at least 7 in the UK still. i grew up just a few miles from their plant in denham. i knew a few people that worked there and as far as i know its still open now an all.

    Ok it's fixed.

The problem was the little strip metal contact on the side needed bending out as it was not contacting properly with the side of the bulb, The new one had the same problem too which as mentioned pretty typical as my luck goes.

Here is some artistry showing the problem.

The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

In other words the problem was cheap Chinese cheese-steel being sold to some idiot who didn't know any better as spring metal.
