   When i first flew to America, i was surprised to see a sticker on the smoke detector in the 'lavatory' saying that tampering with the smoke detector is a federal crime. I guess it makes sense, but i thought, huh, so if i remove this cover, i am liable to get arrested by the FBI. That's pretty interesting.

   I read that an American plane is considered American soil, diplomatically speaking. So if i am taking off in Budapest on an American plane and kick a lady in the face, i will be prosecuted by American authorities.
