Double wrong retard.
1. I was talking about the Federation
2. Yes it is anyway. The Prime Directive is an ultimate principle of humility, that being technologically superior doesn't mean you know what is right for a society. They are extremely careful not to interfere with developing worlds, so as not to be tyrants.
They literally had dozens of episodes on the subject... -

2019-08-11 at 8:22 PM UTCI got turned off to Star Trek completely when Whoopi Goldberg in The Next Generation appeared, and then Neelix in Voyager. That was the last straw. It's like, what is this? A fucking soap opera? This ain't Star Trek. This is As the World Turns or Days of Our Lives.

I agree, they were exceptionally shitty characters.
At least Neelix had that hot blonde chick he used to hang around with.
Oh, and there was this qt 3.14 who played some entirely forgettable character.

We should have left Pakistan alone, to develop at its own pace. -

What's an "insurgent group"? That's kinda an Americanism that I just don't get.
I know what the crew of the Enterprise would think of Pakistan - and the Pakistanis - if they discovered it tomorrow. -
2019-08-11 at 9:10 PM UTCThat's right. It's the oil companies and the military industrial complex who caused all the blowback, sending tens of millions of desperate foreigners who have been bombed out of their schools, homes and hospitals into western countries. And now the real crooks are sitting back counting their trillions while they blame all of us for what they did and call us biggots.

This is a TV/Movie thread, can we give the anti-semitism a rest pls? Thanks. -

Yes, and the invasion of Iraq is a digression.
On topic, how about that island in the Indian ocean that just slays anyone who tries to visit?
Do they have the right idea or what?

2019-08-11 at 9:26 PM UTCApparently on that island some researchers were boating around and started getting arrows shot at them. The tribe's men were angry as hell standing on the shore.
Then the women came out and just started fucking them, and it worked. The researchers got away.
A similar thing happens in star trek tng episode 306 -

In many ways I envy such people.
They don't have the internet, and so don't have to deal with your faggotry for instance.
