    I don't think there is a Ferengi on board. Maybe later in the show, last couple of seasons. TNG was pretty neat and Voyager was alright as well.

    Never got into the later Star Trek, even though the older ones are pretty corny.

    TNG = #1

    It's exactly the right amount of corny

    So, is Starfleet a military or a scientific organisation?

    How do they pay their staff?

    Do aliens have a vote?

    Where did all the Muslims go?

    It's a scientific organization in the universe TNG is in. It is a military organization in others.

    They don't pay their staff. Money is obsolete to everyone in the federation, and poverty has been eliminated. Healthcare and education are free.

    Everyone is elected. Aliens can vote within their local systems as well as for higher Federation positions. Unless you mean illegal immigrants, which I don't think there are any. People seem to be accepted into society almost immediately with seemingly little paperwork.

    Muslims I assume got mostly integrated into the rest of humanity. Religion on Earth is obsolete, but the individual cultures remain strong. Pretty much the best scenario. All the food, safety, and beauty, and none of the crazy ass religious types.

    Again, there are no illegal immigrants. Everyone is simply accepted into society, and it is Utopian.

    If that were true the Federation should just get assimilated by The Borg. Everyone is a drone in The Borg. Except for The Queen.
