I've been playing skyrim since it came out in 2011 or 2012 and I played it over the course of about 5 years and I'm not done yet, and I keep setting myself back from beating it completely by making new characters instead of beating it outright (Meaning completing every blip on the map and doing all quests).
I'm not too far off on the former, but the latter will still take quite a while. I haven't played it more than a couple times in the last 3 years tho, but I am willing to use mods now to speed things up a little. Fallout 3 I beat entirely, and New Vegas I still got quite a bit of work to do, even though I "beat" it meaning I did the whole storyline like skyrim. Fallout 4 I bought some of the expansions so I might as well get my money's worth, but I can't really be arsed to go all out on that game like the other ones.

I'm trying to get 100% completing in Red Dead Redemption 2 and it's a pain in the ass. Could never do it for Skyrim. -

The best part about it is how the storyline is about a free, laissez faire paradise that slowly but surely gets eroded into oblivion by the ever growing presence of the Federal Government in all it's dreadful droves of decay and death. -
