I’ve seen many people die right before my eyes. I’ve seen a man who had his foot cut off brought in, with a bag that was on ice. His foot was in the bag. I saw a man who got in a car wreck while his arm was hanging out the window. He was also brought in with a bag on ice, his arm was in it. I had to xray his arm separately. It had a watch on it that I had to take off for the xray. My students were losing it.
Can’t even remember how many cut off fingers I’ve xrayed.
I’ve xrayed a dead man that was shot dead by the cops. The coroners xray machine was broken, so they brought him to me. Rigor mortis had set in with his arms behind his back in cuffs. Yeah, I know, they cuffed him after they shot him, what kinda shit is that?
Watched a girl lay on a table with knife sticking out of her chest that moved as she breathed. Watched a 19 y/o kid, who shot himself in the head, take his last breaths. Then I had to go home and turn mommy mode back on😕
I’ve got hundreds of stories about the shit that dumb, drunk, drugged out, money hungry people do.
One story sticks out in my mind vividly. Two men were on a construction site and arguing about a woman. One guy hit the other in the head with the claw side of a hammer. It stuck in there, and he came in like that. They luckily took him to surgery, removed the hammer, and he suffered no brain damage. The claw went between the two hemispheres of the brain.🧠The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

when I heard that he died I was actually at the beer store because I worked nights and I walked up and down the isle for a second. It was disgusting humanity but He was mine and always will be. It hurt my heart because he was all I had that lived with me.
I petted him and he was very cold (he was in my freezer) He was my little man.

but you made a specific statement, you said 'they cuffed him after they shot him'. now you were either there and witnessed it, or 'they' told you that. i never said the cops told you themselves, i just said 'they'.

2019-06-11 at 11:05 AM UTCIt’s a long story. It was all over the news. The guys sister called the cops because he was clinically insane, banging on the door, threatening her with a gun. The cops got there, there was a shootout, and he lost. The cops were worried about anything coming of it, so I had to xray him to find the bulletts. He had one in his heart, and one in his belly.
Considering it’s the cops who cuffed him, “they” would be the only ones who could have told me.
