there is no collective voice. questions may be asked…comments may be made…and the decision i make is the one i choose to make. this isnt a democracy and if they dont like it they can leave.

Da fuq? This isn't the military. Real life must have fucked you up!

    No. Finny is right.

They can think they have a voice, but they need to be coached into to having the "right" voice, AKA yours.

They also need to be able to run a POS by themselves without help from mommy. It's a POS system, how are you any better at niggering it out than them? Do you own a computer but they do not?

Tell them no calls on your heroin filled days off, and make it sound like it's a good thing that those are the circumstances in place. You need to set forth the principle that having a life outside of work makes you a better employee, because it does.

However, once you come into contact with your workers via any means of communication you need to be fearless, near flawless, and never let out the idea that there could be a hint of a suggestion of the of a tacet whimper.

I know what you mean OP. I've been logging 80 hour work weeks. My problem is that I'm so freaking sick of my team I want to strangle them. But I can't fire all of them concomitantly. I'm just gonna get high.

I've been working for about 2 months after being more or less unemployed for basically 3 years since quitting my last job.

It's hard getting into the routine of working, having to spend long hours in an office etc. Before I could just go wherever I wanted whenever I wanted, and it was easy. Also not being able to do any gardening or farm work.

It's also really strange suddenly having money to spend. It's really dizzying, you go into a shop and suddenly theres all these things you can afford now that you couldn't before and you're just all like "whoah". So far most of my wages have gone on updating my electronics, new camera, new phones and the like for relatives who helped me out when I was unemployed, new second hand laptop, new headphones, new networking gear, some bitcoin, etc.

I am technically a manager, and that is new to me. My report is very uncooperative and prefers hobnobbing with the senior managers, and doesn't really regard me as being in charge at all.

Cos I feel like making some money without working for it.

    Also just to have.

I have no real intention of spending it any time soon.
