I'll explain the intelligent factor.
When the slaves came over you had a few that were designated "house niggers" they were basically the ones that appeared brightest and were usually the non muscular ones.
The house niggers were educated by their masters. Learned to read/write, proper etiquette shit like that
Then you had your field niggers. This was basically eugenics, the slave owners would breed them like livestock to improve them for working the fields. These were your dumb fucks. Realistically they were farm equipment.
So when the emancipation proclamation was whipped out and before through the underground railroad, most of your house niggers made a break for up north. Some stayed and were respectable and become land owners and shit. A few got into politics. The field niggers became share croppers and shit like that.

Some of us stayed due to the beauty of the south. I don't particularly enjoy dealing with nogs but I stay in a very white town. -
