Melly was actually decent music for being a complete retarded nigger. From his interviews, I always got the feeling hed kill someone not because he was necessarily a hard dude...but because he was simply too unintelligent to consider the consequences of shooting someone, without the mental capacity to plan ahead more than the next few min. -

That's the case with a lot of people. There's an interview with him (pitchfork or noisy I think) where they ask him about lyrics in reference to murder and his eyes dart back and forth and he stutters before saying he just metaphorically murders rappers. I wish I could find it, it's fucking funny. -

Never been particularly impressed by his voice or lyrical ability, but his choice in instrumentals is usually right up my alley. But i dont make music so what the fuck do i know.
