also first post in like 3 weeks. What'd I miss?
You absentee elitist son of a bitch. Are we not good enough for you? Too busy to skim and ignore posts that aren't interesting or relevant to you? Is that why you haven't been responding to me? BTW, I mentioned this before, but the go to new post option may not work properly, it regularly takes me to the last post made, so be sure not to miss posts due to this.
Anyway, have you used any new nootropics? Not necessarily strictly cognitive enhancers, anything that significantly enhances biological function in general. There are some very interesting products coming out. Recently Ceretropic acquired Nootropics Depot, giving them much more capital for R&D, and he stated that they have a backlog of 50 new compounds waiting to be released: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/comments/3l29ij/nootropics_depot/cv37am3
Very good news for the future of the nootropics industry, I've written about my reasons for my high opinion of Ceretropic before. They've brought many products to market.
Also, dextro-2-FMA

I should use the extraction method outlined here on the racemic amphetamine I have left over. Bought it and stopped using it a quite while ago. Dexedrine is ridiculously expensive, bulk powder dextro-amphetamine would be sweet to have, particularly since you can carefully use very low doses to augment MAOIs, which could be an incredible combination with Nardil. Although, I don't know whether the effect on norepinephrine 2-FA has is just as low and whether the effect on serotonin 2-FMA has is enough to be dangerous. Could buy something to rapidly deal with emergencies, but still, scary event to experience. -

2015-10-10 at 3:53 PM UTCFound this on r/sociopath: What do you score on the "Reading emotions through the eyes" test?
http://socialintelligence.labinthewild.org/Your score is 32 out of 36
How did others do on this test?
The average score is 26. But we found that not everyone does the same on this test:
Women, on average, score half a point higher than men.
Young people under 18 score substantially lower than adults.
What am I? I'm not joking about how reclusive I've become, I've only been stepping foot outside once or twice a month, haven't even had conversation in one or two years. I don't even speak to people much online, I've never spoken to someone on webcam or even through voice, and don't even spend nearly as much time as most people viewing things that show real people on video (TV, films). I've always been extremely introverted and asocial to begin with. And I'm supposed to be autistic as well.
Just giving the background to give an idea of what a massive disadvantage in social experience and skills I should have. Am I just so aware/perceptive and skilled at logical analysis, such an extreme systemizer, that I can compensate through pure rational analysis rather than depending largely on innate biological intuition?
There were a few I hesitated on, felt uncertain about and changed from my initial answer because something didn't quite seem to fit, and those may have been the ones I answered incorrectly. I remember hearing long ago in school, but didn't verify, that in situations like these you should go with your initial response because it may have been found that it's much more likely to be correct. From fragments of memory of test taking experience, I think this is likely generally the case for me. Another factor is that with training/social experience my score would be bound to improve. Neat perfect accuracy could well be within my reach if I made the effort and some of my deficits/disorders were attenuated.
Very strange result, but I've known, or rather have theorized, that I'm extremely atypical in many ways since some time ago.
Although,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empathy#Affective_and_cognitive_empathyA difference in distribution between affective and cognitive empathy has been observed in various conditions. Psychopathy and narcissism have been associated with impairments in affective but not cognitive empathy, whereas bipolar disorder and borderline traits have been associated with deficits in cognitive but not affective empathy.[36] Autism spectrum disorders have been associated with various combinations, including deficits in cognitive empathy as well as deficits in both cognitive and affective empathy.[30][31][36][38][40][41] Schizophrenia, too, has been associated with deficits in both types of empathy.[42] However, even in people without conditions such as these, the balance between affective and cognitive empathy varies.[36]
I bet Lanny tanks this test. Computer science major! Think of how embarrassing it's going to be if you score substantially lower than a hardcore ultra-autist like me. Don't you dare lie to me, I demand accurate data points. -

Nah, my mom was in town for a week so that took up time on its own and then I figured it would be better to avoid the "what site is that?", "oh, that's just the forum where I pretended to be a girl for a couple of years, populated by addicts and the mentally unstable" conversation. Then I just got busy as work, extra hours and when I got home I just wanted to shutdown and do some passive consumption.Anyway, have you used any new nootropics? Nothing in particular. Still on my psychedelics kick, excited to try that AcO-DMT. Not really a nootropic but this might be up your alley, lately I've been leaving the lights off when at home. Even at night there's enough ambient light to get around and I obviously know the layout so I could do it blind with a little work. I find it has a strange mood brightening effect, things just seem softer and more pleasant. Obviously reading a book or cooking isn't really feasible in the dark but you'd be surprised at how much is. I've heard that low lighting improves creative cognition but it may well just be an old wives tale or something, all I know is that it's subjectively pleasant.Found this on r/sociopath: What do you score on the "Reading emotions through the eyes" test?

I scored 27. I don't think the test is all that meaningful if both of us scored above average. Besides, I bet most autists would do well or at least average, the test measures your ability to identify emotions not your ability to act appropriately on them. We can imagine a lot of explanations for the symptoms of autism that don't rely on a significant inability to gauge emotion in others. -
2015-10-10 at 7:17 PM UTCYeah, 27! Average is terrible, you only scored one point above it. How would you feel if you scored average on an IQ test, or the SAT or ACT, GREs, possibly some of your other tests in college depending on what the average is. Although, this is somewhat different, I don't know what the standard deviation is and it could be much lower. No, I'm pretty sure most autistics would score well below average, difficulty in gauging emotions, "reading" people/body language, is well established. Stop fooling yourself.
Oh god sometimes I feel painfully autistic and really want to make an effort to check/suppress my autistic behavior, but it's counteracted by my desire to post things, despite them being largely unnecessary, which could be driven by a need to find a replacement for my extreme lack or IRL interaction.
Oh, where are you getting your 2-FMA and 4-FA from now? Did you buy from tic-research (till.i.come@riseup.net) initially and how much did you buy? I really wish I had pooled my money with you so I could have gotten 2.5 times the 2-FMA and 4-FA, at only $5 a gram. I'm not sure if he's going to vend again after his supplier defrauded him of around 10K IIRC, really a shame. Also may have forgotten to mention that I saw a reputable darknet vendor on a Grams search that sold etizolam for significantly lower prices that purposechem for the quantities you were interested in, although purposechem was out of stock, so you may have purchased from someone else, although the savings may not be that significant an issue at your income, which is good. -
2015-10-10 at 7:38 PM UTCCame across something interesting I wasn't aware of, the "intense world" hypothesis of autism: https://www.google.com/search?q=autism+intense+world
http://www.spring.org.uk/2014/02/int...on-at-rest.phpA new study has found that the brains of autistic children produce, on average, 42% more information than non-autistic children when in a resting state (Velázquez & Galán, 2013).
This may explain why children with autism tend to withdraw into their own inner world and become socially detached.
One of the study’s authors, Roberto Fernández Galán, explained:
“Our results suggest that autistic children are not interested in social interactions because their brains generate more information at rest, which we interpret as more introspection in line with early descriptions of the disorder.â€
Intense World Theory
The study supports a relatively new theory of autism called the “Intense World Theory†(Markram et al., 2007).
This theory suggests that autism is not a mental deficit, but a mental overload. Autistic children deal with this by trying to shut off the outside world.
Proponents say that autism can be described by hyper-perception, hyper-attention and hyper-memory.
All the minds major functions are working at increased capacity, perhaps explaining why autistic children shun social interactions.
Rather than being uninterested in other people, autistic children may find the sudden rush of information from others too much to cope with.
Typically a lack of empathy is described as one of the main features of autism. But the Intense World Theory suggests the opposite: it actually produces over-sensitivity.
Although I've never been deep into autism research, I've read surprisingly little about it.
It's a very high price to pay. I don't think the tradeoffs come anywhere near being close to worth it. This is definitely how I feel, the amount of information I take in is enormous, to the point where it causes long-term harm and leads to dysfunction, negating benefits and the ability to utilize them. Awareness to the point of pain.“The Intense World Syndrome suggests that the autistic person is an individual with remarkable and far above average capabilities due to greatly enhanced perception, attention and memory. […] It may well turn out that successful treatments could expose truly capable and highly gifted individuals.†(Markram et al., 2007).
Also something I've thought and a very interesting possibility. Not just wishful thinking, at least not entirely, but a "perfected" autistic brain could bring about some of the most capable minds, at least in certain aspects, for certain fields/applications. Truly remarkable minds, potentially unlike anything seen before, reaching heights that inferior neurotypicals could only dream of. -

Yeah, except for the fact that "emotional intelligence" is about as much of an accomplishment as "best masturbator in the tristate area", a pretend metric created to console people who drew the short straw and are shit at everything that matters. "Classical intelligence" isn't the only worthwhile human attribute by a long shot, but it's not company to "hehe, I can read expressions, I'm so cool". Multiple intelligence is a long running fraud to prop up the lie of talent-equality that seems to be a fetish of western education systems.Oh, where are you getting your 2-FMA and 4-FA from now? I did do that order from tic, ended up buying 10 grams, don't remember what I paid. I ended up going through by-industries for my recent order, since he started doing limited registration the prices have been better and I've never had an issue with communication or bad product. Etizolam was actually the same price as purposechem at the volume I was buying and he also had 4-AcO-DMT which you got me interested in so I figured it was worth something to not have to bother with two separate orders. -

The bayer opium made it through. I think the last time I had checked prior to this was about a month after it had shipped, and I didn't check again until a month after that. It looks like some good stuff. Took a 32mg safety dose. Here's hoping it momentarily alleviates the pain of being alive.Yeah, except for the fact that "emotional intelligence" is about as much of an accomplishment as "best masturbator in the tristate area", a pretend metric created to console people who drew the short straw and are shit at everything that matters. So petty and jealous. I agree, but this isn't about the concept of emotional intelligence, it's measuring your ability to accurately gauge emotions merely from looking at people's eyes, which does measure something fairly concrete and objective with real world applications. How is the ability to accurately gauge emotions not useful? You stated yourself when I linked to a finding that people with autism spectrum disorders have a much higher rate of thoughts of and attempts at suicide, and depression: http://niggasin.space/forum/better-l...=6029#post6029
"People with more-shit lives than the average wanking to kill themselves more than the average doesn't seem all that interesting to me. Especially during the period where social skills are most important to "success"."
IIRC for 10 grams it was around 12.5 or 15 $/g. 50g would have been perfect for us, same price if we had split it. Even if it seems like too much we could have used the excess to try separating the isomers for that sweet sweet dextro-2-FMA, which seems to perfect it.
The darknet vendors had prices substantially lower than purposechem at that quantity, although they were in China. Maybe $100 saved at most, probably closer to $50, so no biggie. -

My point is, "social skills" don't boil down to being able to read emotions from a close cropped image of someone's eyes unless you interact with people wearing burqas all the time I guess. Even being able to determine mental states in other people with high accuracy given the full range of information usually available (the entirety of the face, body position, tone) doesn't seem that important. Look at the reasons people call you autistic on here. Like the bidet discussion. I'm sure you realize that discussing the subjective experience of your anus after various hygiene routines is repulsive and socially graceful, I bet most autistic adults could tell you the same (they might bitch about "but it's just another topic of conversation" but the point remains that defecation and related subjects are taboo and even autsits know this), and yet you did it anyway. The issue is not so much failing to recognize the attitudes of others but failing in accordance with them.
Anyway, yeah, you should have gone in on that buy. Since the whole illegalization thing if you find any vendors doing a fire-sale type thing and you want to go in together for a higher volume let me know. There's no such thing as having too much stims.
As an aside, has anyone tried 5/6-MAPB? Thoughts? -
2015-10-10 at 10:25 PM UTCFucking Blue Angels, sounded like a missile was about to hit or something. I don't know what a missile/bomb actually sounds like, but it's the first time I've seen/heard a (low flying) military jet in the bay area. When I saw it my first thought was whether a terrorist attack had occurred nearby or something of that nature. Kind of funny, disappointed that it wasn't a response to a major incident.

2015-10-11 at 1:26 AM UTCAh san francisco, what a city, what a town. A little 2fma, a couple of drinks, and a walk in the warm afternoon autumn sun. The slight breeze feels divine, I live in the best part of town, junkies and hipsters and free masons and anything else you can imagine, an adventure just just out the door. I wandered into a hardware store I passed, old guy running the shop, pale skin but a bit of an accent so maybe armenian. Really friendly, helps me pick out what I need, cuts a few bucks off the price to make it a round number and throws in some screws I needed to install. I mean it was almost certainly overpriced to start with but whatever. Just walked the streets for a bit and watched the sunset. "it's the little things" sounds so dumb and cliche but it's easy to get in the mindset that the most immediate/largest dopamine/reward payoff is what you should aim for when there's a lot of pleasure to be had from a diversity of things (greater novelty) even if the perceived sum reward is less.

2015-10-11 at 4:32 AM UTCI swear, black people can make some of the craziest fucking sounds at night.
I think I may have been about to post something about this but either lost it or changed my mind. I think there's a mixed race couple, white woman black man, and I've heard the little nigger boy flipping out at her. Christ the middle/upper class white liberals who adopt African children must receive hellish surprise when they turn out the way they wont to do. Anyway, heard her say, "Are you fucking insane? You assaulted an elderly person, that's jail time." He was insulting her, saying things like "What are you looking at?! Fatty! Just let me run away!" along with screeching and crying. I think he did run away afterward, I heard it occur as he got away, but don't know for how long. Quality entertainment. I was really tempted to push him over the edge and make him explode by throwing an egg at him without being seen, preferably right at his face, although the back of his head would be a safer target as I'd be less likely to be spotted. Didn't have any eggs though, and I am a coward who rarely goes beyond fantasizing and being an uninvolved observer.
I want to do it some day, be the one to make him explode and behold the glorious cascade. Maybe I'll even engage in vandalism during Halloween as an outlet for my rage mankind and human society, for the sadistic and various other forms of enjoyment. Teenagers would provide the obvious scapegoat. Hmm, no, I don't really feel the drive, even for relatively simple gleeful destruction. Maybe if the right idea struck me, something novel, creative. -
