what do you consider a proper army? This isnt the 1700s where everyone lined up to die and fought like gentlemanly scholars. -

An army like Britain, Russia, France etc. You know, well trained armies with air forces and navies and decent Special Forces, not just a rag tag bunch of farmers with AK's. -

2016-12-03 at 12:26 AM UTCFair point, the Taliban and Al Qaeda did pretty well against America, as did Vietnam.
Last proper war fought between armies? The Falklands and we kicked Argentine asses in a few days, half the world away. -

well i'm not familiar with that war, i'll look it up. The kind of war you're "wanting" probably isn't going to happen for a very long time. -

They're NATO allies. They're close *on paper*, but Erdogan is trying to play them and overextending himself.
First, keep in mind that 'fighting Isis has always been secondary, if a real goal at all. The US' primary objective has been to dethrone Assad and as such, they've been funding and arming anyone who can hold a rifle including groups like Al Nusra Front and Isis (though indirectly). International politics being what they are, the US can't attack the SAA directly, but they can get away with funding other groups to do it.
They obviously can't sell arming Isis and ANF to the public after the all the execution videos so they've come up with two local groups - the Kurds, doing what they're told for the possibility of their own state or autonomous zone and the hilariously depressing myth of 'moderate rebels'.
The Kurds are what bring the US in direct conflict of interest with Turkey. The Syrian-Kurdish cantons are in the north of Syria, close to the Turkish border and Erdogan hates them for it as it is - he blames the Syrian-Kurdish communities for supporting violent Kurdish separatist movements in Turkey among other things. He will never, ever allow a Kurdish state to form - initially the Kurds thought the US could protect them, but it's been shown time and time again that the US is unwilling to protect them militarily and cannot protect them politically.
The largest reason for the US to allow Erdogan to do what he wants is the Incirlik air base - the US and Europe conduct all of their bombing raids within Syria from the Turkish base, and Erdogan's basically told him they're getting evicted if they cause him grief. Germany got their access restricted for publicly recognising the Armenian genocide, lel.
The other thing relates back to the first point - the Kurds are only interested in fighting Islamic extremists, specifically Isis. They've had no interest in fighting Assad from the start, and their constant 'betrayal' has driven them to work covertly with the SAA in many instances. If they were willing to fight Assad it'd probably motivate the US to push Turkey, but as it stands that'd be very risky with little to no payoff. -
2016-12-03 at 1:44 AM UTCThank you.
Proxy war? What do you think? -
2016-12-03 at 4:11 AM UTCProxy wars are SOP for the NWO. It's all just like chess on a board to them.

2016-12-03 at 4:53 AM UTCNo but seriously, war for along time won't be the way it was before, war is based on deception , like fake beheadings and fake body counts. I worry about people like tort, who may have to go into this kind of war, he will probably be fine, i wish id of stayed in the army. I'd be a doctor by now had I followed through but I was very young.
World war 3 aka world wart 3 has been going on for years now, but at a pace the current mind controlled public can handle. They are talking about allowing soldiers with ptsd, to take mdma in a controlled setting, which sounds pretty strange to me. (even though i like mdma, but probably won't do it again, because I feel like shit the next day, no matter how "pure" it is)
It's all a bullshit campaign, where thousands of men (no women, surprise surprise) are getting killed, every decade over something that only benefits the rich.
I've spoken to several vets, some who are doing well, some who aren't doing so well, and they all give me a similar narrative about how they love this country, and went through brutal events all for candyasses, who will never really know the truth.
And they are still dealing with the effects of the war to this day. physically, mentally, and monetarily

yes, briefly, I was going to be a field medic and move up from there to be a nurse/doctor, but I had legal problems going on at the same time before and after being accepted.
It was kind of crazy, the lengths the recruiters went through to get me in, getting HEB *texas grocery store* to falsify documents on my behalf for court saying I was a manager with their company and an upstanding citizen and even going to court with me. Even throwing out my drug test and justifying a fucked up felony I committed, and telling me to always lie.. and stuffing me with chicken to get me in through meps (i was way skinnier than I am now)
But hey thats what they get paid for lol. This was ten years ago so I don't know exactly how it is now.
But, yeah thats why I was telling lil nigger, he should of went into the army (he still has a chance) because its a great way to get a real job. Even at the shitty pizza place I worked at I worked with a dude that went to the navy, now he's not doing anything but working at a pizza place... but he's racked up a lot of money to have a nice place and is comfortable. I've seen it time and time again.
I know im not exactly a yung blood anymore at 29, but I still feel young and if donal trump was able to exonerate me of my felonies and let me go to school i would totally be a field medic in whatever shitty war we having coming up, and I'm sure I'd be good at it, I used to be a nursing assistant when I was 18 before joining the army.
All the guys on my moms side of the family (grandfather, uncles) were in the army and despite being derpadew drunks, they all were able to branch off from the service onto jobs that held them above water.

2017-03-10 at 4:59 AM UTCso, Turkey's pushing in (using both their military and their FSA proxies) and facing off with both the US green berets in Manbij and the SAA at the Euphrates - for the latter, the SAA has set up a contact line to stop the Turks from pushing any further into Syria.
fighting's broken out at the Euphrates, firefights are still ongoing but military sources are talking about casualties on both sides and ~20 SAA POWs taken -
