Yeah there were. They called them newsgroups in those days. However I was just doing that shit in school thinking it made me smart to make teachers and others look stupid. However I grew up after a few years and realized snidy smartass comments and shit doesn't make me look smart. It made me look exactly like I was, just an ass trying to look smart by attempting to belittle others. Real smart people say and do actual smart things and don't feel a need to try and rise up by trying to kick others down.

Maybe one day you'll get smart enough to work it out tho. Who knows.

Was Doom free at one time (not piraded)

Shareware doom, first few levels (8?) were free...as was wolfenstien. You had to pay for the full version. -
