Where is the line between being a junkie and not?
-
2019-04-17 at 10:59 PM UTCChronic heroin users are basically skin and bones. They only bloat up right at the end, just before death, when all their organs fail.

2019-04-17 at 11:52 PM UTClol at you idiots. Just coz your only experience of drug users is junkies portrayed on TV as skinny homeless spotty types with greasy hair you think thats what every single drug addict looks like. This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say y'all get all your info from mainstream media and you buy that bullshit just as much as every other sheep.
If drug addicts are all skinny then explain Phillip Seymour Hoffman, John Belushi and Chris Farley then?
The only addicts that are skinny and or dirty are the ones so preoccupied with using that they can't/don't find time to eat and look after themselves properly. Thats just a small minority of users. Usually the really really messed up ones.

Got pretty unfit and piled on a few pounds back in the day when I'd just drive round all day shoplifting. Would always grab a shitload to munch on. Especially when I'd fill baskets up with meat and spirits and just walk out the store and drive away. Would cover the steaks and bottles with all sorts of cakes and sammiches and shit. Never went hungry in them days, lol.
Never did understand skinny addicts that shoplifted.

2019-04-18 at 3:49 AM UTCI eat more when I do opiates and have energy and endless boners. They're so terrible for you though. So good and so bad.

Because they don't eat due to the appetite suppression. If they did eat an excess of calories they would still gain weight as a result. Probably less due to meth's effects on metabolism speed, but if they ate enough they would indeed gain weight. Unlikely to occur but possible. -

I would say neither but if anything maybe slightly heavier because opiates give some people an appetite and/or sweet tooth and their use generally promotes a more sedentary lifestyle than a stimulant user. There are very active opioid addicts though, some people use them for hard labor and stamina and shit. -

Can confirm. I had a very physically actuve job that involved 10s if thousands of steps, constant squatting and lfting, carrying and moving shit.
The squatting got real old and left my back sore quite a bit. Once I was on dope 100% of that shit went away, I suddenly became an olympic gymnist and would fucking fall to my knees as fast as possible just because I could, and it didn't bother me a second.
Then I quit and I remembered why I hated my job so much before I started using. -
2019-04-18 at 5:14 PM UTCi can fucking destroy a 16 hour workday if i have opiates/Crouton

I knew a guy who washed dishes who claimed he needed heroin to handle the pain of the hot water in the sink.
