   I make it a point to counter this particular argument EVERY SINGLE TIME with another scenario that literally no parent imagines...
   
   If your own son (or daughter… female pedophiles, albeit rare, do exist) turned out to be a pedophile, even an actual offending one that acted on their impulses, would you be comfortable with your child being vilified and turned into a monster in the court of public opinion? Would you be comfortable with them being physically tormented and sexually violated on a regular basis while in prison?
   
   Your duties to protect your children don't just go "poof" up in smoke as soon as they do something wrong.

    When I was a script kiddie I left bot scripts in chat rooms, sometimes they'd be pretending to be pedophiles. Other times they'd just seem mentally ill. The sad thing is, people would argue with them for literally hours.
    
    vinny isn't a bot, but I suspect he may simply be trolling gullible dumb people with the whole pedo thing. I've done it so I know it really works. I actually met several real pedos and other sorts of sick fucks online years ago, and they are extremely creepy. Quite a few of them are above average intelligence, but they're just plain evil. Caught them trading kiddy porn in chat rooms they thought were hidden. For a lot of real pedophiles, it has nothing to do with being in love with kids or being merely attracted to them. They enjoy the pain and suffering they cause, the corruption of children. They laugh about it. One guy said he fucks animals and said that it "tears their asshole apart" and laughed about it.

    I would start getting him help the second he realized his feelings. I would call the cops on him if I knew that he raped a child. I’d have him put in continuing care if he could possibly be a danger to anyone.
