I sold my guns to my dad for $900. I only bought the Beretta because I was paranoid this other kid I sold acid to was gonna bring his gun sometime if I ever sold to him again. He posted pics of his guns on instagram and shit. Nice guy though. -

When you have to keep mental track of like a hundred different nondescript personalities in your head, everything just kind of jumbles together. When there's a name, a face- you can assign traits and histories to that person, they become "real". It's why people only give a shit about the posters who are distinct, that we know stuff about, thatvebeen around a bit. They feel more like people we "know".
Even if I don't like a lot of posters, I still appreciate knowing them and what they're about. I really don't understand it entirely to be honest.
A lot of DH posters are just... nothing to me. They mean nothing. They never say anything interesting or funny. Not to say that there aren't some interesting refugees from that site. But most don't even feel like real people to me. They communicate with each other like generic facebook/reddit/youtube comments and basically bog the site with unfamiliarity. -

I want to buy a .22 for fun shooting. Have some rifles (not actually mine but I can pretty much use them whenever) but they're for hunting and shooting with them is a pain.
What kind of Beretta did you have? I was looking at some M9's earlier (I know they're not .22) -

I had an FS92 Inox (Stainless steel for another 100 bucks) 9mm. It's a fun gun to shoot and all, it's heavy as hell which means very little recoil. I didn't really like the single/DE action and decocker on it though or whatever it's called.
Basically the first shot is single action which is a very hard trigger pull, way too hard honestly. The second and rest of the shots are double action with a nice trigger pull. I never remembered that the first shot was gonna be harder when I reloaded so the first shot was inaccurate.
I shot like 100 rounds through it total and the goddamn thing kept Failing to fire but I couldn't get the fucking round out because the slide WOULD NOT MOVE. So I had a live round that I couldn't remove and hit that fucker as hard as I could praying I wouldn't shoot myself. It did that twice and I never shot it again. I think the gun shop sold me bunk ammo, it was locally reloaded shit that the guy sounded nervous about selling me. He said "Yeah it's good stuff, that guy used it in a match and..."
Other guy: "Yeah...that was ballsy...". It jammed on him. -
