Are you good at job interviews?

Farming isn't really a valued skill in society, so you might look like a bit like a hick if you don't word it correctly. But I doubt these shit jobs will care too much.

Focusing on college is a good one. "Yeah I was taking 6 classes and i had all these labs and blah blah blah". As long as you look like a hard worker/dedicated person they won't really care too much.

I always tell them I'm a hard worker (because I am) and I've only had one interview where I wasn't offered the job. I have some more professional experience now though, so I have no idea what I'm going to fucking do. I'm okay interviewing at McDonalds but the thought of going back into an office or managing again just kills me inside. I'm trying hard to find something else, even if I'll be making less than I was.

Pretty stoked though because I nearly doubled my wage in less than a year at my last job, and that's gonna look very good on a resume. Especially once they call my references. I'm friends with all the managers that were in my dept and have hung out with them outside of work and shit, so I know they'll put in a good word for me. But I need to act soon before the 'traveling' gap becomes suspicious. I really just wanna apply at McDonalds and have an easy job again.

Every personnel office has access to your entire employment history on file with IRS. As soon as they run your SSN they know all the places you've worked and haven't worked.

No, it's true. A background check using your SSN can confirm if you graduated from the college you indicated on your resume or application, and that you worked for an employer during the time you stated. A background check verifies your SSN and can reveal your work history, individuals you know, your credit report, and your criminal and driving history.

If that's true then I am like a ghost. Never had a driver's license or been arrested in my life and I don't interact with people.

I've had several personnel office managers tell me straight out they can look up the applicant's entire lifetime employment history, including length of employment, location of employment, salary, reason for leaving, basically everything. So when you fake a resume, they can easily tell if you are lying.

No such system exists here, and I've never heard of such a system existing anywhere, ever.

Can you still get a burner phone?

I remember back in my "illegal activities" days, I would walk into a 7-11 and buy like 5 cell phones and then activate them from pay phones, so there was no connection to me (other than the video footage from the 7-11 cameras - but they only check that if you're killing people or something - which I never did).

    What?

I worked at an electronic store and we set up phones all day long. including burner phones (which is just a non contract phone)

You could buy a cheap smart phone and use it as a burner phone. not just clamshell phones.
You grab it, we say "Can I set that up" and they go "No, I'll do it myself"
I just sold a cheap phone and got 2-5 bucks intensive sale. I'm not writing down descriptions of the person. I mean there is a security camera in there and I suppose their photo might be taken for future ref.. but even at 7.11 that happens. just as long as you're not threatening an official or having it in a bank robbery.. no one gives a fuck.

you can still buy them I'm sure. But I live in California.

Didn't happen, but if it did then these "personnel office managers" lied to you, straight out.

The IRS would have a fairly complete history of your employment, they'd know everywhere that generated a W2 for you, or analogous document for other kinds of contract work or employment and would know your length of employment give or take a years. The IRS does not supply this information to private background check companies or individual employers.

You don't wanna use the same phone.

Also i googled burner phone for lulz and links to prepaid sims on tracfone, Amazon, and Walmart came up. It was mildly amusing.
