It’s a mind game. Depending on the job, you can get more in tips by asking if customers want their change. It’s harder for someone to say yes they want their change and pull out of a portion of it for a tip than it is to say keep the change.

Lol, what kind of broke ass scrub do you have to be to actually want a fistful of loose metal that's neigh on worthless? I hate getting change, and when there's nowhere to put it I just kind of awkwardly hold it in my hand until I stumble on a homeless person or a trashcan to throw it in.
