Marin County has 4-5 times the rate of Breast Cancers of any county in any state of the Nation. since the 1970s it's doubled. 4 times more than any other place in the USA or 4 times the average.

Lol nah, just life. I stay busy. The last year has been pretty rough, actually. My mom is in very poor health, and we're not sure if she'll make it through the holidays. I get through most days alright, but sometimes the most random things make me lose my shit. I'm not ready to lose my mom.
I'm glad you've kept the space ghetto alive, though. Hopefully, I should have a little more free time to grace y'all nigganauts with my presence. -

Sorry to hear you're going through this, Hamp. My mother is getting older and for the past month or so has looked like she lost weight. more wrinkles. I took photos of her last month, she looked great and this past time I saw her I started to feel worried. I hate going over there but do so now. It's painful but you have to do this. Shit and now I have to get back to work too. everything thrown at you the same time, Sinus infection, an open wound opened up on my leg that I had a previous injury from, im broke, lost my job but thankfully got another, my mom is getting old and I have little money for christmas this year.

My mom's been dealing with the aftermath of diverticulitis for a few years now. She's suffered through shit that would break most people I know. She's lost probably thirty pounds in the last few weeks. A few months ago we were told that her stomach is being pulled through one of the hernias in her gut and that eventually it will become choked off and the dying tissue will set up infection that will eventually kill her. She's too high risk for anyone to even attempt to repair it surgically. I guess, the bright side is that she doesn't seem to be in too much pain, so at least she isn't suffering a painful death. I just hope she passes peacefully like my grandmother.
It sucks. She's not perfect, but she's the best person that I know, and I hate watching her waste away like this. She deserves so much more than what life has dealt her. -

This doesn't sound like it would be painless. stomach pushing out a hernia (which is basically a ulceration or torn tissue of the lining of the GI tract if I'm not mistaken.
high risk or not, it's better then just dying. can't they go in with minimal invasive surgery and push it back in and then stitch the hernia? -

She's been a smoker for most of her life. They're afraid her lungs wouldn't be able to handle being put under because of it. To make matters worse, she has a lot of scar tissue in that area which only makes any gastrointestinal procedure that much more complicated. She's only 55 years old.
They have her on 100mg doses of morphine, so she's not feeling much of anything. She's been pain managed for years now, so her tolerance is insane.
