   Those are easily dealt with, you just put one of those electrified lights on your porch at night...when they come buzzing around ZAP...they are dead and another bridge collapses somewhere.

   It was holding a large Roman shield, so it was probably able to reflect a lot of the fire. No doubt, at 12-15 ft and 1100lbs, it could take a lot of wounds anyways and keep right on going.

    A population needs at least 1000 or so to sustain itself (assuming they're not ginger terminators or genies or something), and something that weighs 11000 pouns (500-600 kilos?) would need to consume a fuckload of biomass, specifically forcing them to forage far and wide in the desert. I don't see how it'd be possible for something like this to only be discovered now.

    It says in the video the soldiers talked to the local natives afterward and found out the village people had been sacrificing some of themselves to the giant every so often, to keep it from invading the village and pillaging at random, so it was well fed and tended to. I wonder how they decided who would be for dinner next.
    
    One of the soldiers said the pallet they loaded the giant onto for transport was 9' x 12', and it took up the entire pallet in a fetal position.
