Fortifying your home in case of an alien invasion or going rogue in the wild?

2018-10-16 at 2:43 PM UTCThey made it across the void of space to find Earth, I don't think a couple locks and some plywood over my windows is going to be much help.

The odds of that are small considering life on earth is a billion years old, and the universe is like 14 billion years old or so.
If there are aliens, which I believe there are, they most likely come from hundreds of millions of years old civilisations.
That logic doesn't make any sense...it would be reasonable to assume the age of "life" and civilizations throughout the universe were spread out...some older, some the same, some younger etc.
Potential invaders could come from any of those demographics...a younger civilization might have developed much quicker for example. -

Women and children are a weakness,so best to stay put in that situation -

Cellar Dweller
dig a giant foxhole and throw a tuff shed down into it and store shitloads of food, lots of ammo and a gunhole to shoot them
but they probably have no skeletons or very flexable like a cat and can prolly crawl through your gun hole thingy. shit that would make a good movie script! -

There are definitely aliens out there and 100% they have travelled here many times throughout history and it didn't take long for them to realize we are the most basic form of intelligent life.
We kill eachother for reasons like race, religion, territory, resources so why the fuck would a hyperadvanced civilization that has mastered space travel come here to kill us for resources?
We are like ants to them, they would likely avoid us all together because it would be like stomping on an ant hill so you could scoop up all dirt for a garden.. makes no sense.
I like this guy.
Fuck them faggoted debunkers -

Humans are only 2 million years old, the smart ones much less, like 15,000 years old.
Meanwhile earth has been unattended for at least 100 million years, but no one showed up to claim it.
Nuclear war fantasists aside it seems a reasonable bet that technological races almost never actually go extinct.
Most races we encounter are likely to be far older than us. Remember we can't even go into space without pic related happening.
We have a lot of "evolving" left. -
2018-10-17 at 11:36 AM UTCThis guy above
He talks about Travis which is in the North San Francisco Bay area.
1971 there was a collective amount of UFO witnessed by many people all over San Francisco. then it happened again in the late 1970s. I remember hearing this shit as a kid. scary shit when you're young and suddenly it's a real thing to everyone.
1952 they were flying over the Whitehouse and the US Airforce chased them away 3 times. there is even a film of it.
I believe this is real, or it's a simulation of it. but there is at least a black and white of it. I remember seeing it .

Just as oil can be found in other places than the gulf of Mexico...wherever it is, it gets drilled. Earth would just be another "rig" amongst the many others.
Then of course the resources might be us...tastier than the average bear. We might be a delicacy. -

Irrelevant.Meanwhile earth has been unattended for at least 100 million years, but no one showed up to claim it.
So? Lot of planets in the universe...they might not have got around to it yet. Most races we encounter are likely to be far older than us. Remember we can't even go into space without pic related happening.
You're falling into the trap of measuring progression on a human level... -

Spray a load of Oust and a load of vinyl freshener/dash shine into it and leave it overnight (that shit causes cancer). -

pick a resource to use as an example
think about that for a minute. think about the odds of an organism evolving in a completely different ecology with wholly different metabolic needs.
the odds of any organism on earth being palatable...much bioavailable nutritionally...much less compatible...much less not completely fucking toxic...are somewhere between zero and not-bloody-likely -

thats why no one smokes in any of my vehicles. most people ask.
the funny ones are chicks who think they can smoke in one of my vehicles just because theyve loaned me usage of their orifices...or think because they have an extra orifice they get speshul treatment. -
