Many folks who park in their garage leave their keys in the car, usually the middle console or thereabouts. The same many folks will often not lock their little side door to the garage, giving you access to the aforementioned vehicles. The only problem is the garage door. If you can manually open it you can do it slowly enough to where it won't make much noise. If you have to use the electric opener, you clearly run the risk of waking someone in the home up, unless they're sound sleepers. Either way you can obviously get away before they'd have time to hear it and get out of bed to come check. Of course the downside there is they'll be able to report it right away. Your best bet is to drive to the nearest big parking lot and leave the car there in the meantime. Bonus points if you can find the same make and model vehicle and swap the plates. Then obviously just call your boy Big Mike and bring it to his choppy shoppy for the straight cash, homey.

Nobody locks the door to their house here, much less their pickup.

You simply have to capture and analyse the numerical frequency used on a self-starting vehicle, then clone the frequency to open and start it.
