   Most likely. I was at school during the cold war in the 80s and back then they would teach us about this 'evil communist regime'. They would always tell us about how the east German stazi police were particularly evil and how they'd have a network of informants and keep detailed files on all their citizens to control them with.
   
   So I really fail to understand how the stazi were evil when they did it, but our western 'democracies' now do exactly the same but act out this pretence that its OK when when they do it. Like how the fuck does that work.
