I do sort of agree though. a lot of people seem to go on holidays to places as similar to their homes as they can just to be pieces of shit in ways they wouldn't be able to get away with back home -
2018-08-04 at 9:32 AM UTCIn a way I kinda get OP, I would far rather go somewhere weird and dangerous like Nigeria, India, or Algeria than someplace that's just a copy of home.
And all rich areas of the world are sort of the same, the same cosmopolitan, plastic culture.
For instance I feel comfy just about anywhere in France, and felt perfectly at home in the rich parts of Nairobi. OTOH I felt like getting going around the country was kind of an adventure. I had never met truly poor people before that. OTOH my family flipped out at me because it was dangerous.
I want to go to Egypt next, as soon as I can get some money together. It just looked so amazing from the plane. -

I mean why would you spend the money to travel if you are just doing the same shit you do at home? Yeah, the beer is better in Germany, and you can probably get some good food in France, but why not actually do something new?
Not that there's anything wrong with going to Europe, but I don't get why someone would go again and again and again. It's such an utter waste of time and money. Not like European culture is much different from American culture.
fuck europe. its turned into a sub-thirdworld shithole. my next travel expedition is going to be anywhere other than europe. and, i dont need to worry about getting randomly knifed or acidified. -

I plan on going to Africa. And I don't promote multiculturalism. Thats why I consider China such a great country.
