Hey Uncle Idiot. Sorry you can't comprehend.

It's only seven months into 2018 AND that $20,000 were payroll taxes only.

Rock, that's quite a lot to pay. I have 2 houses I have to pay annual property taxes and they still don't add up to that much. Do you have 'back' taxes or something? I make sure I pay 2x a year is easiest for me.

That's what is on my paycheck. Adding Federal tax, State tax, Medicare tax, FICA tax it's over $20,000.

That's why I said when it's all totaled up, all taxes combined it's probably close to 50% of what I make.

The majority of taxes should come from consumption, inheritance and capital gains. I dislike exorbitant taxes but absolutely loathe people who whine about taxes like fucking victims. Boo fucking hoo you live in a society where you don't get to keep absolutely every dollar you make, just charge it to the game you fucking uncreative carbon blob. You can't figure out a way to make a few extra bucks to offset it? Guess you're one of the "losers of capitalism" you pretend don't exist and aren't really treated fairly.

Whining about what the government does with your tax money is different but still cringey. Yeah, they waste billions on stupid things but would you really expect anything else? Health care comprises one fifth of the US budget and one third of Canada's and Canada's health care system is much better and objectively more altruistic. People whine about paying for other people's problems then don't realize they would prefer that option over the mad max skullfuckery alternative.

If you taxed immigrants and the rich proportionately like you tax the middle class there would be more saving and less whining. Immigrants send their money back home and rich people spend it on hookers to walk on their balls. As long as capital stays in the economy you're just being a broke selfish faggot who knows nothing of economics to complain. If you can't figure out a way to separate a fool from his money, or can't be enough of a utility to live comfortably, you can blame the system or you can do something about it. What a fucking joke

We have a fiat money system. Based on nothing but our faith in the U.S. government. Not on gold.

Our government borrows money because of overspending, waste, fraud, wars, ect.

They borrow and pay interest to the FED on "money" in which the FED just creates.

Guess what percent of the whole is just on the interest now?

The record was set back in 2008 when $252.8 billion was needed to cover net interest on the U.S. national debt.

Projected to be over $500 billion.

Based on these estimates we can really see the expected impact of higher interest rates on what was a substantial increase in national debt during the Obama administration. Between 2015 and 2020, the percentage of annual federal spending being diverted to cover net interest payments on our national debt is expected to grow from 6.1% to 11.1%.
