And no. I respect clean air act and all.. but those guys are bastards. they keep construction cost high in California and are pushing construction outward rather than upwards. the suburb existance needs to end. only mix building structures should exist with the low housing available. not just in San Francisco but everywhere. we should be preserving as much land as possible for clean air. Stores on the bottom, offices above and then apartments or condos above that. or even narrow row houses of Townehouses.
there is tons of plastic floating in the middle of the pacific ocean. it needs to be netted and strained out of the ocean and refined on the coastline and much of the plastic could build small housing for homeless. made out of plastic with firecoating. throw a cheap TV screen, no hotplates but a induction stovetops and maybe a microwave for cooking. few solar panels to run low voltage appliance and heat water for showers. have a centralize low cost washer and drier. and a recreational center to teach them coding or other skills and try for job placement.
Government in California are a bunch of lazy assholes and hardly get shit done. -

Does "public lookup activity refer to the activity of looking someone up, or do you mean to say looking up records on a person's activity should be publicly available?
if it's the latter then that seems directly contradictory to this:and only look up information on where people were and where they are when a crime happens

I don't think I'm arguing in bad faith at all, and I don't see how asking your question about your position suggests that I am. On the other hand seeking out a way to claim I'm arguing in bad faith as a pretext to exit an argument does seem a bit like bad faith to me. -

Information lookup activity = the activity of information lookup. That does not mean or imply that information lookup should be publicly available, but the activity done in information lookup should be.
If I say government spending activity should be public, that doesn't mean that everyone has a right to spend government money.

OK, so then your proposed surveillance won't be public. It's existence will be, but its contents won't. This doesn't really sound accountable to me.
And it really doesn't address the chief concern which has been brought up to you repeatedly: the US has a lengthy history of secretly abusing surveillance capabilities. In light of this how do you think your proposed system of pervasive surveillance will not be abused in exactly the same way the US spy agencies have been abused for the last half century or more?The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
