Banks are the worst possible thing you could rob, but if the person is that stupid, it's probably best to hit just before closing, like 20 minutes before, most of the staff will probably have left already, the staff who's still there will be weary and tired. Somebody's going to hit the silent alarm within seconds of entry no matter what.

If a person really wanted to rob a bank good, they'd get certified as a teller and then get a job at a bank, and then find a way to clean out all the money bags in the vault.

People who work at the bank probably have access to the safe deposit box master keys, too.

P much this same with literally any establishment. Banks are better in this respect as in nobody gives a fuck if a bank gets robbed but like, if I were to set up a robbery where I work I'd feel like absolute shit since it's locally owned by my own boss husband and wife who are awesome. Id never fuck them like that.

But any corporate business or fucking BANK, I support theft from the Corporation or a set up robbery or whatever. Just because fuck you and Yolo stuff. Haha.

I'm sure people will disagree with that but behind closed doors I'd imagine most everyone, if given the chance, knowing they could get away with guaranteed, would take a shit ton of money from a bank or big time corporation.

There was this guy a few years ago who took a job as an armored truck delivery guard, and he waited until they were carrying several million dollars in cash and then shot his partners in the back on the truck and drove off with the bags of money. He left the country shortly thereafter and has never been apprehended.

Banks are awful to rob. They don't have much actual cash on hand that you can easily get. Tellers have drawer limits, and they're usually not very much. Any time a teller goes over their limit from a large cash deposit they have to "sell" the cash to the bank vault.

Banks usually require two people to do most things including opening and closing. Managers always leave early so it's usually a teller and an asst manager or teller manager to close up. The asst manager/teller manager can't access shit that the manager can.

It doesn't matter if the employees are tired or not. Bank training says that bank employees comply with instructions from potential robbers. Training says you'll be fired if you do anything other than hand over the money. Bank employees don't give a fuck because it's not their money and they aren't paid enough to care.

There isn't an easy way. Vaults are on timers. There are cameras all over that store footage to the cloud. Banks usually have a backup power system to power the cameras and alarms. In the event of a robbery, new employees get questioned harder than old employees. It would be possible to learn the schedule and try to clear out the ATM while it's being reloaded. That's probably the best score as they have $60,000 or so inside, but again, cameras.

Safe deposit boxes require 2 keys. Bank employees have access to 1 of the keys. Customers have the other key for their own box. You could drill out the locks or try to pick them, but again, cameras and at least one other employee will be around at all times.

In short, banks aren't a good target. Most of the money is in the ATM and the vault, which is usually on a 15 minute opening timer. You can clean out a few teller drawers in a couple minutes, but you're only going to get ~$2000 max from each teller on a good day.

Well sure but it's barely stealing like it's practically just a donation like a take-a-penny tray, stealing from people who would never even notice is just like taking a few pennies. EVERY TIME.
